During the pandemic, my children were remote learners for a short period of time. In navigating this experience, I wanted to provide art-oriented content to keep them motivated and creating. “Hello art!” is a digital presentation that covers art basics such as line, color, and shape. While the art term is demonstrated through fundamental representations and artist examples, the language and visuals are meant to be personable and inviting. Including pictures of the artists, and where they are from, extended the learning experience to a map to help my children get a better understanding of the artists and the world around them. “Hello art!” could be versatile, ongoing, and benefit from more thoughtful research and execution.
